Many of you know Steve as an integral part of Owen Sound’s music community. If you’ve been to an event at Heartwood, Steve is the main man/tech that makes the room and show sound great! Maybe you know him from being helped out at @Long & McQuade (Owen Sound) - his main daytime gig. Or if you’ve been to @Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival for any of the last 30 years of the Festival, you’ve likely crossed paths with Steve!
With Steve Meacher’s recent diagnosis of colorectal cancer, he is facing a very challenging time: Steve will be facing life-changing surgery, chemo and radiation. Together we want to support Steve and make sure he can continue to be working in the field that he loves: LIVE MUSIC! A “GOFUNDME” has been set up to support Steve (and his family) many have already donated.
