Stronger Together Bench Press Fundraiser for Wayne Wright. Cass County Fitness is hosting a bench press competition to support our dear friend and local resident, Wayne Wright, in his fight against cancer. Wayne, who has been married to Kelli for nearly 36 years, served our country in the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Air Force Reserves before dedicating 23 years of his life to working at the Federal Correctional Institution in Liberty Eylau. Wayne is also a member of the First Baptist Church Queen City. In September of this year, Wayne was diagnosed with Gastroesophageal Junction Cancer, which has spread to his liver and spine. He is currently receiving chemo and immunotherapy treatments every two weeks at UTSW in Dallas. Despite the challenges, Wayne’s faith in God & His plan remains strong, and he is finding joy in the “simpler things in life”. Wayne enjoys crappie fishing in his downtime, but above all, Wayne treasures the time he spends with his wife, children, grandchildren, & family. The goal of this bench press competition is to raise support for Wayne and his family during this difficult journey. Every lift made is a testament to the strength of our community and our belief in Wayne’s perseverance.Where: Cass County Fitness in Atlanta, Tx.

Cost $20- 100% of proceeds will go to Wayne Wright's medical bills and support of his family.
