Ben WyvisThe most popular of the area, being close to Inverness and not a long day compared to some of the others, this great Munro makes for a lovely day in the mountains. The Munro summit is Glas Leathad Mòr, although this very bulky mountain is more commonly known as Ben Wyvis (if you’re looking for it on the Met Office Mountain forecast though it’s the Gaelic name you are after!). If you explore this bulking mountain along its plateau and further than the summit, you will find impressive corries, home to remote winter climbing and isolated lochs.
