Ben Granfelt's 21st solo album , "It's Personal," is a special release, as not many artists release their albums on CD and vinyl these days. Let alone a double CD/double LP combining studio and live tracks. The album was released in May 2025.

Ben plays guitar purely for his own enjoyment, without rules or restrictions, but rather as a beautiful collection of musical statements. These are songs with melodies, riffs, diverse sonic textures, and yes, of course there are solos, but they remain an integral part of the songs, rather than the songs being an excuse for endless noodling. "We recorded the basic tracks live together with Masa Maijanen (bass) and Jari Salminen (drums) in a large room. Then I locked myself away in my small studio and had the most wonderful time recording guitar tracks and creating sounds. I honestly think I've created something very special and personal, and I'm really very proud of the result."
