Join us on the eve of Beltane for a night of shared tables, shared food, and shared celebration at the historic George IV Pub, Edinburgh.

Beltane marks the turning of the year toward warmth, growth, and abundance—a time traditionally celebrated with fire, feasting, and community. In that spirit, this event is a fully communal feast, with long shared tables and dishes served to be passed, tasted, and enjoyed together.

The evening will feature a three-course feast built around seasonal abundance, including a generous selection of roasted and grilled meats, fresh fish, vegetables, and fruits, designed for sharing and connection rather than formality.

The Beginning:
A selection of grilled and roasted seafood, pates, and salads. Served with chutneys, preserves, and warm breads.

A selection of roasted and grilled meats, vegetables, and sides. Served with roasted salads

The End:
A selection of choice cheeses, grilled and roasted fruits.

What to Expect

● Communal seating: Guests will be seated together at shared tables. This is a

social, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for conversation and connection.

● Shared dishes: Food will be served at the table for everyone to share, rather than

individual plated courses.

● Three relaxed courses: Each course will arrive in turn, encouraging a leisurely pace

and plenty of time to enjoy the company.

● A warm, informal atmosphere: This is a celebration, not a formal dinner—expect

generous food, flowing conversation, and a lively Beltane spirit.

● Allergens/Dietary Requirements: Due to the nature of this event, No Allergies or

dietary requirements will be catered for. It is a communal feast, and a wide array of

food will be available, served over three courses to choose from.
