Please join the Greenlake Grove outside at north Greenlake to celebrate the rite of Beltane. All those of good intention are welcome, regardless of experience or affiliation. From the order of Bards Ovates and Druids:
It is thought that the ancients only recognised two seasons, these being Summer and Winter. Beltane is the time when the Earth is literally buzzing with fertility. Life springs forth in all of its richness, and the land is covered with beautiful flowers; the freshly opened leaves of the trees are a quality of green that they only show at this time of year. At Beltane the Lady of the Land takes the hand of the Horned God. Some celebrate Beltane on the dates given above, whilst others look to the flowers of the May tree as their signal that Beltane has, at last, arrived. https://druidry.org/druid-way/teaching-and-practice/druid-festivals/beltane
LOCATION IS AT NORTH END OF GREENLAKE:
* Near Stone Avenue North & West Green Lake Drive North.
* South of the parking lot.
* East of the tennis courts (on the other side of the Greenlake Trail).
* Find the west side of the parking lot, and then walk south--and then left--up the small hill into the oak grove.

You may bring a poem, song or story for after and food or drink. Looking forward to seeing you there.
