We're delighted to join forces with Oldham Choral Society to perform William Walton’s magnificent Belshazzar’s Feast, supported by a full orchestra and brass band. Unveiled in 1931, Belshazzar’s Feast is a dramatic and edgy composition with multiple rhythmic changes. A contrasting but equally operatic experience will be provided by the two supporting pieces – Elgar’s Great is the Lord and selections from Verdi’s Nabucco.
