About this Event

This special evening will unveil a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing opportunities for Black residents & fostering engagement for career building, entrepreneurial pursuits, education, housing, & culturally diverse spaces for the arts.

Featured speakers:

Dr. Reiland Rabaka - Professor and Director of the Center for African & African American Studies, University of Colorado, Boulder

Dr. Reiland Rabaka will share his experience & research for his visionary Beloved Community.

Annett James - President, NAACP Boulder County Branch

Annett James will share the vision of a campaign to purchase a building for the NAACP Boulder County Branch.

Wanda James - Regent at the University of Colorado and Entrepreneur

Wanda James will share her entrepreneurial background, career insights & speak to her position as a Regent at the University of Colorado.

Ann Cooper - Residential Realtor and Community Housing Leader

Ann Cooper will share her perspectives on housing as a Boulder housing realtor & housing expert over the last 30 years.

Henry Wright - Entrepreneur

Henery Wright share his approach with his company on providing funding opportunities to start new businesses for under capitalized populations
