About this Event
In this 2-week series, students a short fun belly dance choreography. This workshop is meant for people who have already learned the fundamental moves of belly dance, beginners with at least a few months of experience and up to intermediate students will benefit from this class.
We will cover the technique involved in some key moves, but also focus on the transitions and in memorizing the whole sequence to make it into a full dance. Get ready to show off in front of your family and friends with a little performance maybe, or just do it for yourself and the fun of it. Excellent to work on your coordination, working memory and stay active and fit at the same time.
All ages and body types welcome.
This workshop consists of TWO sessions, that will happen as follows:

Learn to belly dance! Come try this beautiful dance form, inspired by traditional dances of the Middle East and North Africa. Belly dancing is a terrific workout that promotes good posture, strengthens core muscles, and helps you develop coordination and control over your movements. Great for people of any size, shape and gender.
In this dance, different parts of the body are moved independently and layered to make a unity. Every part of your body will participate, from your toes to your fingertips, your head and also your heart, as you develop body awareness and coordination. Regardless of your age or body type, you can always learn something from this dance.

Please, arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before class starts.
Must sign for the whole 2-class series. No drop ins available.
