Bellydance Basics is a six-week workshop style class that focuses on:

Bellydance Movements - Body mechanics and breakdowns of basic Bellydance moves like shimmies, hip drops and isolations. Learn a fun choreography!
MENAHT Music - Overview of most common Middle Eastern, Hellenistic, North African and Turkish beats. Discover modern Bellydance music as well.
Culture - Discussions about where this dance comes from, how it has evolved and the costuming related to differents styles

No prior dance experience necessary and open to all ages.
