About this Event
Discover the ancient, sacred, and feminine art of bellydance in this beginner-friendly class open to all levels. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to move!
In this class, you’ll learn foundational bellydance movements including hip drops, circles, undulations, shimmies, and graceful arm patterns. Each class begins with a gentle warm-up to connect breath and body, followed by step-by-step technique practice and short dance sequences that build strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence.
Beyond technique, Victoria brings a soulful approach to teaching—encouraging self-expression, playfulness, and connection to the feminine essence within. Her classes create a safe and welcoming space to move at your own pace, celebrate your body, and rediscover the joy of dance.
Victoria’s journey began unexpectedly at Unity on the Bay, where she met her first teacher, Maya del Lobo, igniting her passion for this art form. She later trained with Tamallyn Dalal at the Mid Eastern Dance Exchange, performed in Infinito at the Guzman Theater, and was a regular performer at Touch on Lincoln Road. After years of private teaching and performance, she’s thrilled to share this beautiful dance with the community once again.
