Belle Isle Beach Cleanup

Each month Belle Isle Conservancy hosts an island-wide cleanup and this June, we’re partnering up to host cleanup efforts at the beach! Every piece of trash cleaned up helps protect our local waterways by prevent plastic pollution from entering the Detroit River — and ultimately, our Great Lakes. 🩷

WHAT TO KNOW:

• Our goal is to cleanup the community while having fun!
• Everyone & anyone is welcome!
• All cleanup materials will be provided.
• Please bring a reusable water bottle so you can stay hydrated with provided water refills without the single-use plastic! 🌎
• All volunteers will be required to complete a waiver upon arrival.
• Vehicles entering the island require a Recreation Passport. Passengers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit riders do not require a passport.
