About this Event
Belfast Nerd Market is coming to Belfast city centre on Saturday 30th May 2026, and it's completely free to attend.
Organised by the team behind Belfast Nerd Pub Quiz and Belfast Anime Disco, this is a relaxed, community-driven indoor market celebrating local nerd culture. Think anime, gaming, cosplay, trading cards, retro games, handmade crafts, collectibles, and everything in between, all from local and Northern Irish artists, traders, and creators who actually care about this stuff.
This isn't a convention. There are no stages, no panels, no wristbands. It's a casual, browseable market experience designed to feel welcoming whether you're a lifelong collector or just nerd-curious. Drop in, have a look around, grab a coffee, and support some brilliant local creators.
What to Expect
📍 Where: 2 Royal Avenue, Belfast City Centre (beside CastleCourt, near the old Primark building)
📅 When: Saturday 30th May 2026
🕚 Doors: 11am – 4pm

Belfast Nerd Market brings together approximately 15 handpicked traders covering:
- Anime merchandise and imported goods
- Gaming: retro and modern
- Trading card games (TCGs) and card collectors
- Cosplay accessories and apparel
- Collectibles and figures
- Pop culture artwork and prints
- Handmade crafts and crochet plushes
- Niche nerd culture merchandise
The venue is a large, open indoor space: step-free, accessible, and easy to navigate. Seating is available if you need a rest, and Yallaa Café is located inside the building, serving hot drinks, cold drinks, lunch options, and snacks throughout the day (open approximately 10am–5pm).
This is a family-friendly event. All traders have been asked not to display or sell 18+ material.

There's no need to leave the building to refuel.
Yallaa Café is located inside 2 Royal Avenue and is open throughout the event (approximately 10am–5pm). They serve hot drinks, cold drinks, light lunches, and snacks! Perfect for a sit-down break between browsing.
