While the veil is now a quintessential prop in belly dance, it wasn’t always part of the tradition.This workshop will cover classic veil moves, seamless transitions, and a breakdown of dynamic veil holds. Throughout the session, Jill will share the history of how the veil became an iconic prop while guiding you on how to use it as an extension of your artistic storytelling.
We will also learn a veil mejance choreography to demonstrate how these elements combine into a performance.
