Take a peek behind the scenes! Go beyond the public spaces and step into the hidden side of the National Railroad Museum with our Behind the Scenes Tours, led by Director of Education Justin Lambrecht. This one-hour experience takes you into the archives and restoration shop, the places where railroad stories are preserved, repaired, and brought back to life.You’ll see the work that keeps history rolling and get a closer look at areas most visitors never get to explore.
This tour includes walking, stairs, and time inside a working shop. Closed-toe shoes are required!
Spots are limited to just 20 guests per tour, so reservations are strongly encouraged. Tickets are $8 or $6 for Museum members.
