Join us for a powerful afternoon dedicated to maternal mental health, healing, and community connection.
The event begins with a live Havening Techniqueยฎ demonstration, offering tools for emotional regulation and trauma relief. We will then screen Behind the Joy, a 23-time award-winning film directed by Jamal Smart that explores postpartum depression within the Black community and the silent struggles many families face.
Following the film, stay for a brief Director Q&A and the Postpartum Diaries Live Panel โ a meaningful conversation bridging clinical expertise, community advocacy, and lived experience.
