About the Speakers
Derek Marlin: Derek Marlin is a real estate investment expert based in Denver Colorado. He started investing in 2009 buying rental properties and added property re-development (Fix & Flip) to the company in 2015. He’s the creator of the “Raising The Flipping Bar” Podcast and the ELEVATION Academy. With over 14 years of experience in the real estate investment industry, Derek has managed his staff to over $150 million in profitable projects in Denver and Cincinnati. His company specializes in the ELEVATION Partnership Flip, property redevelopment, the ELEVATION Academy, and sourcing single family rentals for large institutions and hedge funds.
Derek has first-hand investment experience working on Wall Street in the fixed income sector and held Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. He obtained an MBA from the University of Florida, and a marketing degree from Montana State University. He’s completed the Tony Robbins Business Mastery Program and numerous real estate focused training. His investment acumen was also refined with 12 years of experience working in corporate sales and marketing with the Denver Broncos and CBS television.
Travis Masse: Travis is a hard working and forward thinking person with a passion for developing business across all platforms. Travis graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in History. Previously to Elevation, he worked in the kitchen and bath space as well the home remodeling sector. As Project Manager, Travis is responsible for seeing projects from start to finish and ensuring a quality product is delivered each time.
