About this Event
Step inside the historic Warnors Theatre for a rare behind-the-scenes tour through nearly 100 years of Central Valley history, architecture, and artistry. From its grand lobby and glowing mezzanine to its mysterious basement dressing rooms and the original 1928 Robert Morton organ, this tour offers guests an immersive look at the people, performances, and preservation efforts which keep this cultural gem alive.
For this experience, guests will head to the space where light became story... in the projection room. High above the theater floor sits the room where the original projectors still stand-- mechanical giants which once illuminated the screen and transformed this space into a portal to other worlds.
Guests will learn about:
• the history of our iconic theatre, including the visionaries behind it
• local legends, visiting celebrities, and stories of spiritual encounters
• the legacy of community behind the curtain
• current revitalization efforts to preserve the building
The tour will take guests through the mezzanine, into the theatre (and on stage!), as well as into the basement and dressing rooms, as well as the balcony.
Our visit will end with a visit to Frank's Place where each guest will receive a signature adult beverage or mocktail!
This experience is both a love letter to the past, as well as a rally for the future. All proceeds will support the nonprofit which maintains, protects, and programs Warnors Theatre.
Please note: portions of this tour include tight stairwells and uneven flooring, which may be challenging for those with mobility concerns. Comfortable shoes are recommended, and we advise caution for older guests or anyone needing accessibility accommodations.
