About this Event
Ever noticed those funky bumps on leaves and wondered what’s going on? Join us at Green-Wood for a knowledge-packed walking tour into the world of leaf galls! Discover the fascinating bugs behind these curious growths and learn why they play a surprisingly crucial role in our ecosystems. Led by this year's Green-Wood Environmental Research Fellows, Dr. Emily Herstoff from St. Francis College and Dr. Michael Tessler from Medgar Evers College, CUNY, this hour-long walk promises engaging insights and a chance to dive into their exciting ongoing research.
