About this Event
Behind Hidden Doors are fun, story-filled, free 90-minute guided tour that takes you inside some of downtown Cleveland’s most beautifully restored buildings—now reimagined as modern residential spaces. Offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays with two different routes, each experience uncovers a new set of places and stories.
These buildings have lived many lives. Along the way, your guide will share when they were built, what they were originally designed for, how they fell into decline, and what it took to bring them back. Through historic tax credit redevelopment, each has been transformed into residential + retail properties—where history isn’t just preserved, it’s part of everyday living.
Inside, you’ll explore model apartments and community spaces, getting a firsthand look at how original architectural character has been thoughtfully blended with the comfort and style of modern living.
