Join Our BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PRACTITIONER TRAINING!
This training provides foundational and applied competency in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), enabling participants to understand, assess, and respond to behaviours of concern in line with human rights, NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements, and ethical practice.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this 3-day training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the principles and values of Positive Behaviour Support
- Apply the NDIS PBS Capability Framework to practice
- Conduct basic Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
- Identify and respond to functions of behaviour
- Contribute to the development of Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
- Understand restrictive practices, authorisation, and reporting
- Apply ethical, trauma-informed, and rights-based approaches
- Demonstrate reflective and professional practice aligned with NDIS expectations
