1814 Commemoration, Inc. is a passionate, volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to preserving and commemorating one of the most pivotal moments in American history — the Battle of Plattsburgh. Each year, we proudly organize the Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration, a multi-day, community-wide event that brings history to life through reenactments, educational programming, music, parades, lectures, and family-friendly activities.
