About this Event
Gràrvölur Seidr is a divinatory practice rooted in the lore and mythology of pre-Christian Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Scandinavia and Germanic Europe. In this ritual form, attendees can ask questions of our ancestors, deities, and other spirits. Seers act as conduits to the beings sought and channel or relay answers. This ritual form requires a small team to perform and is offered as a service to the community.
Learn Gràrvölur Seidr with its creators, Irene and Ash Glasse. This training will focus on foundations of this form of Seidr and the Spà form of the ritual. The material covered will include history and lore, ancestral veneration, Heathen soul theory, ethics, ritual mechanics, tools, and techniques, Gràrvölur Seidr roles, and more. Opportunities to explore different roles within this Seidr form will be provided.
Gràrvölur Seidr training is open to 21+ intermediate metaphysical practitioners who have experience in journeywork/spirit flight, solid grounding practices, and a desire to serve their community through this form of divination.
Beginning Oracular Seidr runs from 1 to 5 PM on Saturdays February 15th and 22nd, and March 1st and 8th. Attendance is capped at 15 for this training and there is a sliding scale registration fee to support those facing financial challenges.
