About this Event
Has the rainy season got you feeling cold and blue? Learn to use a sewing machine to make your own theraputic heating pad!
In this beginner friendly class students will learn the basics of how to successfully operate a sewing machine, such as how to wind and load a bobbin, load thread, change a needle, and do a forward and backward stitch. We will then use those skills to complete a project: microwaveable heating pads for soothing sore muscles and achy joints.
All supplies - including machines! - are provided and students get to take their heating pads home at the end of class. This class is suitable for adults and children ages 12 and up with a paying, accompanying adult.
