🐾 Beginning Dog Training – Starts October 1, 2025📅 7-week course – Dogs of all ages welcome
🕖 Wednesdays at 7:00 pm
📍 The Dog House – 149 S 5300 W, Cedar City, Utah
💲 $150 for 7 weeks
What to Bring:
• Your dog on a 6-foot leash (no chains or flexi leads)
• A secure collar that won’t slip off (martingale or head halter recommended; no harnesses)
• Plenty of small, soft, high-value treats
What You & Your Dog Will Learn:
• Positive & negative word markers
• The Name Game
• Sit, Stay, and Sit/Stay with duration, distance & distraction
• Down
• Loose leash walking
• Come when called
• Attention & focus
• Wait & release cues
• Introduction to clicker training
• “Leave it” & exchange game
• Sitting politely for petting
• Socialization & handling by others
• Beginning heeling
• Skills to prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test
About the Classes:
• Held in a large indoor barn (protected from weather).
• Register at the first class by check, Venmo, or cash.

Giving Back:
Gail donates $30 from every new student to support local homeless animals and the Enoch community dog park.
