Learn the traditional craft of broom-making in this hands-on introductory class. Students will explore the history and function of handmade brooms, while creating their own functional and artistic household tool using natural broom corn. By exploring the rich history, practicing tying and stitching techniques, and shaping your very own broom - you’ll gain the skills to connect utility with artistry. No experience necessary.
