Join Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority and Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance on a beginning birding walk at Rancho Cañada del Oro!
About this Event

Come join us on a bird walk in Rancho Cañada del Oro! We'll walk along Llagas Creek Loop, Hidden Meadow trail and Longwall Canyon trail to look for oak woodland species such as Band-tailed Pigeons, California Quail, Acorn Woodpeckers, Wrentits and raptors such as Red-shouldered Hawks, Red-tailed Hawks and Turkey Vultures.

Please wear layers, bring water and binoculars. Binoculars will be available to borrow.

Trip Difficulty: 2 miles, packed-dirt trails, muddy or possibly muddy after rain, some hills (less than 300 ft elevation gain), some shade.
