Ever wanted to learn the basics of Balboa? Now’s your chance to learn it from two fantastic guest instructors, Dylan Devotta and Desiree Roffers!Balboa is a swing dance that’s characterized by its use of small space and subtle weight changes. This class will cover Balboa basics and Bal-Swing which merges swing movement with Balboa all in one day. This dance is performed in “close embrace” and we will be rotating partners in class. No partner or experience required. Dancers are encouraged to bring slick-soled shoes or socks to dance in.
10:00am-11:15am: Class Block 1
11:30am-12:45pm: Class Block 2
12:45pm-2:00pm: Lunch Break
2:00pm-3:15pm: Class Block 3
3:30pm-4:45pm: Class Block 4
7:00pm-8:00pm: Intermediate Lesson at House Party
8:00pm-10:00pm: House Party
