Receive a solid grounding in yoga philosophy, pranayama (breathwork) and physical alignment in the foundation postures of a Hatha Yoga practice. This course unfolds at a relaxed pace with the total newbie to yoga in mind. Each week includes an alignment lab (mini-workshop) on one of the key foundational poses of a Hatha Yoga practice. You will learn and apply the basic principles of forward folding, balancing, back bending, twisting and transitioning safely between poses. Over the 6 week series, we weave the poses together into gentle flowing sequences. Don’t understand what all that means? You soon will.
We aim to empower you with the knowledge and embodiment to move safely, effectively and joyfully through the start of your yoga journey. You will walk away inspired and confident to join our other classes. Register for a course and start your evolution today.
