6 weeks ,11 sessions of learning to throw on the Wheel.Location: 11 Kotuku Street, Castlecliff, Whanganui
Starts :17th of February 6.30-8.30pm
This course is twice a week and will take you from complete beginner to confident enough to buy a wheel or join a club. Classes are on Tuesdays at 6.30-8.30pm where you will throw clay (make on the wheel). And Thursdays 6.30pm-8.30pm when you will turn (trim) your pots you made on Tuesdays. The Course will run for 5 weeks consecutively with the final class to glaze your pots. (Note the glaze class is a month after the last wheel class as I am going on holiday)
This is the first of wheel sessions at the more affordable price of $50 a session. The classes are small with only two students per class and you will learn to prepare the clay, throw small bowls, mugs and plates. Then trim (turn) to neaten up and lastly glaze them.
