Have you always wanted to explore Tai Chi? This is a special 4-week program that will allow you to explore some of the foundations of Tai Chi and learn the first 17 moves.This program will run the 4 Saturdays in June (June 6, 13, 20, 27) from 9am until 10:20am in the Fitness Studio at the Bedford-Hammonds Plains Community Centre at 202 Innovation Drive in Bedford (same building as CP Allen High School).

Tai Chi Chuan is a unique, centuries-old Chinese exercise that integrates into one system elements for health improvement, a moving meditation, and a martial art.
During Tai Chi practice, the muscles and tendons are alternately stretching and relaxing. That makes them flexible and the joints become looser.
During the stretching and relaxing, blood in the veins is being squeezed back to the heart. The blood in the artery flows easier and fuller; and the looser joints will let the blood flow through without impediment. With good circulation, the body will heal and rejuvenate itself naturally. More than blood circulation is improved: the lymphatic, nervous and digestive systems run better as well.
