A Whimsical Pottery Workshop at Color Cocktail Factory

Hop into creativity with our Bunny Cups pottery class — a joyful, beginner-friendly experience where you’ll craft your very own bunny-themed cup!

In this two-hour guided workshop, you’ll learn simple handbuilding techniques to shape a functional cup and then transform it into an adorable bunny with sculpted ears, a little tail, and a personality all its own.

Whether you’re making a cozy cocoa mug, a playful planter, or a one-of-a-kind gift, your bunny cup will bring a touch of handmade magic to your everyday life.

In this class, you will:

• Learn basic clay handbuilding techniques (pinching, coiling, attaching)

• Shape and personalize your bunny cup with fun features like ears, noses, and tails

• Explore textures and surface decoration for extra cuteness

• Choose your favorite glaze colors (we’ll fire your piece for you after class!) (not included seperate charge as little as 5$-10$) glazing and or firing takes us two weeks

No pottery experience needed — just bring your imagination and a sense of fun!

Please remember if you are attending a Friday, Saturday or Sunday class. Our Friday and weekend classes can get very full. Especially if the class is a very low price. We at color cocktail factory believe that art should be available for everyone. And pride ourselves on being the most affordable option in Chicago. On weekends, our classes can be very full. We will attempt to help everyone as much as we can. However, it is not a private session class. If you would like one on one instruction please

Look into a private lesson class. If you do not feel comfortable being in a space with a lot of people, please feel free to message me and I will move your class to a different time or date for you. Please check out our Instagram for pictures of what this experience will look like. We are very open and honest about the amount of people we allow in our studio on a weekend. Please let me know if you have any further questions

seating next to each other is not guaranteed especially if you come late. We will attempt to accommodate everyone to sit with whoever they have a reservation with but again it is not guaranteed.

Please leave with enough time to find parking. parking in Chicago can be very difficult.

We do not provide parking.

Parking is all paid street parking and can be limited. We highly suggest using public transportation, Being prepared to park and walk a couple blocks, Or use an Uber. Our classes start 10 minutes after the prepared time. And we will not take walk-ins that are late 30 minutes or more. There is a rescheduled fee of $15 per ticket if you are late and if you would like to transfer to a different class at another time. Thank you for your understanding. We want to ensure that everyone gets the amount of class time that they are paying for and taking walk-ins after 30 minutes is not productive for anyone.

The glazing process for ceramic classes

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick up

Each class is either 90 mins or two hours. Depending on the class schedule. If you refuse to leave within the given time your class is to end we hold every right to charge your account the studio fee of 50$ an hour per person. Please keep in mind there are other classes that occur after yours and other people that want to experience their classes as well. Thank you

Lastly, we do not have coat racks. Everything you bring will have to either be hung on the back of your seat or place under your chair we will not provide tables for storage.
