We will cover the basics of how to meditate and provide you with a strong foundation for your future meditation journey.
About this Event

What to expect:

Whether you're new to meditation or simply looking to rejuvenate your meditation practice, we have a special session tailored just for you. During our time together, we'll explore various sitting postures, share insights on using tools for your posture, delve into meditation methods, and conclude with some valuable tips for integrating meditation into your daily life. Our aim for this one-day session is to provide you with a strong foundation and cultivate the right mindset to enrich your future meditation journey.

What to wear and bring:

  • Vegetarian lunch for yourself or/and something to share with others (we do not provide lunch; microwave is available)
  • Wear loose and comfortable clothes
  • A bottle of water. Tap water is available (no drinking in the Chan Hall)
  • Meditation cushion and mat will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. We do not have a meditation stool
  • One or two blankets to keep warm (we have spares)

Timetable:

10:30 - 12:00 Welcome & meditation instructions

12:00 - 13:00 Potluck vegetarian lunch & rest (please bring simple vegetarian lunch to share, getting a portion for one is sufficient)

13:00 - 16:00 Guided sitting, moving, walking meditation
