Class Dates for Series: 4/20, 4/22, 4/27
Join this beginner-friendly sewing series and learn how to make your own simple knit tank dress from start to finish.
This class will take place over 2–3 sessions, with each class lasting 1.5 hours. Students will learn how to read and use a basic pattern, cut knit fabric properly, sew seams, hem, and complete a wearable garment with guidance throughout the process.
This class is designed for students who have completed Sewing 101 or have basic sewing machine knowledge.
Please arrive on time and ready to participate, as each class builds on the previous session. All materials and machines will be provided.
You can bring your own machines if you like as long as its in a good working condition.
Students are expected to be respectful of the space, equipment, and fellow participants.
Because this is a series class, attendance at all scheduled sessions is strongly encouraged to complete your project.
Come ready to learn, be patient with yourself, and have fun creating something you’ll be proud to wear.
No supplies are required—machines, materials, and tools will be provided. Just bring yourself, a positive attitude, and be ready to learn.
Optional: If you want to bring your own material you will need 2 yards of a 4-way knit that you want to use for this project.

Refund Policy:
- Transfers to another class follow the same refund rules as your original date.
- 14+ days before the first class: Full refund.
- 7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.
- Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.
- Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.

Class may be canceled due to low enrollment in which case a full refund will be issued.
Cancellation Policy:
MakerSpace reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment. If a class is canceled by MakerSpace, fees are 100% refundable.
