What does the workshop cover?Whether you’re right handed or left handed, this workshop is for complete beginners or those who have not knitted for a long time and want to start again.
During the day you’ll learn how to cast on, work the knit stitch and the purl stitch and cast off. You’ll also be shown a simple increase and decrease and from there you can knit at your own pace and explore more stitch options if you wish to.
We will also cover the difference between yarn types and knitting needle sizes and explain the different types of patterns available nowadays and how to follow them.
You’ll get lots of tips and inspiration during the day and help to build your confidence. Plus suggestions of easy things to knit and continue your journey into this wonderful and portable hobby.
All the techniques you learn on the day are supported by Wendy’s YouTube tutorial videos, so you have back up afterwards as well.
