Join Ann for a fun-filled day of exploring the unique style of Egon Schiele through watercolour and gouache painting--and enjoy a 2 hour free class credit to Soho Life Drawing's Thursday class as well!
Suibtable for absolute beginners, class will start with an introduction on using gouache and watercolour, before diving into the world of Egon Schiele--who he was, what he made, and how to create your own Schiele inpired works! Perfect for anyone with an interest in life drawing, painting, or art history. Best of all, you'll return home with a beautiful wall worthy artwork!
All materials are provided, so all you need to do is show up, relax, and have fun with your fellow artists while learning a brand new skill. If you decide to continue your life drawing adventures, class comes with a 2 hour class credit (worth £15) for a session at our Thursday night life drawing class.
About your Tutor
Ann Mackowski is an artist, and the founder of Soho Life Drawing, which she established in 2018. Holding a Masters of Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Art and Design, Ann has garnered numerous awards and exhibits her work internationally, proudly represented by The Violet Hour in London. She was a featured contestant on Sky's Landscape Artist of the Year; was Espronceda Barcelona's 2020 Artist in Residence; appears on the shortlist of many top awards; and regularly exhibits with the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours. Her classes attract diverse clientele including institutions like Buzzfeed, Liberty London, and the University of the Arts London and she works as a training consultant to several animation studios. Her students, including notable professional artist Ahmed Farid—whose works have sold at Christie’s—testify to her impact in the art community.
