Get to know your DSLR — a relaxed photography workshopJoin photographer Georgina Valentine for a friendly, hands‑on day learning how to use your DSLR camera with confidence.
Georgina will break down the basics — shutter speed, aperture and ISO — in a clear, jargon‑free way, with simple demos and plenty of time to practise. You’ll learn how to blur or freeze movement, control focus, and make small changes that have a big impact on your photos.
After lunch, you’ll head out into the Abbey Grounds to put it all into practice with guided photo challenges and time to experiment. You’ll finish the day by reviewing your images together and chatting about what worked (and what didn’t — that’s how we learn!).
