⚡️DETAILS: 6 Week WCS Class Series - Mark your calendars!
🗓️ Weds - April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20
⏰ 8PM - (please arrive by 7:50 to check in, change shoes, etc.)
📍 Carilion Wellness on Starkey - 4508 Starkey Rd, Roa, VA 24018
(NOTE* You do NOT need to be a member, but you WILL have to sign a waiver for the class series.)
💰 $15/person/class, or $75 for the series, if you pay by the end of the first class for the whole series. New students get the first class FREE!

⚡️DANCE CLASS DETAILS⚡️:
The Roanoke Westies BEGINNER's FOUNDATION CLASS - 6 WEEK SERIES is a great way to learn the basics + of this wonderful dance. We will rotate through fundamental concepts and patterns, and warm-ups and drills. No experience or partner is necessary; classes are designed for all levels, both newcomer and returning students. Attending the six weeks in order is highly encouraged. And keep coming back! We want to grow our dance with you! This series is meant to be repeated several times. You will get to really know your basics and learn to style them. Progress and growth require continuous learning, regular practice, and social dancing. Feel free to change lead/follow roles on your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th times through.
A safe and welcoming space is a priority, so please read the code of conduct before attending.
If you are taking the Beginner Level for the second, third, fourth, etc. time, repeat classes are only $10 per class. The content of the Beginner Level is designed to pair well with the Intermediate "Next Steps"class, if you'd like to take them both for more learning and practice.
⚠️NOTE*: Dance classes will only be held if there are 4 or more students each week. If you arrive, and there are not enough students, you will get a 20 min private/semi private lesson for your effort to be there. If you wish to have a full hour’s lesson, we can either deduct your series, or drop-in fee, from a regular private lesson cost, which can then be divided between the number of students that show up.
PRIVATE LESSONS (individual and small groups) are always available to help you get personalized instruction, deepen your learning, or help you keep up with the class syllabus.
