Learn the relaxing and addictive art of weaving! Join us for a fun, hands-on Beginner Weaving Workshop on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m. at the BAAC Work/Shop. Instructor Carly Dahl will teach participants foundational techniques such as the tabby weave, soumak weave, adding fringe, and how to finish and hang their very own woven wall hanging.Whether you’re brand new to weaving or simply looking to try something creative and relaxing, this class is the perfect place to start. The workshop is recommended for ages 12 and up.
All supplies are provided, and each participant will complete a beautiful woven piece to take home. Registration also includes a small loom kit, so you can continue practicing your new skills long after the workshop ends. The class will last approximately two to three hours.
Cost: $65 ($60 for BAAC members)
