Beginner Tennis 1: Intro to Basics

This class offers the fundamentals of tennis. We will teach you how to play tennis from the very beginning.

Take this class if:

1) You've never played tennis before.

2) Not comfortable with all the basic skills.

Parking is tough, so please come early. The designated parking lots and street parking surrounding the courts may be full, so we recommend parking in the residential area down Owensmouth Ave. or at the Grocery outlet. It’s a bit of a walk, but there is almost always parking. Consider it a warm up!

We recommend 2 options.

1. ($18) Head Ti Instinct Supreme Tennis Racquet - Purple: Adult Graphite-Aluminum, Oval Frame
2. ($25) Wilson Intrigue Tennis Racquet.Both are beginner friendly rackets that are solid and very lightweight. A lot of our beginner players use these rackets and enjoy using them. Both of them should be available from Target and are below $30.
