What you will learn:
- Safe and efficient carving techniques
- How to navigate wood grain
- Design considerations
- Spoon finishes
During the class we will be carving a spoon from a prepared blank using a sloyd knife and a hook knife. You will take home a completed spoon and skills to build upon as you progress in this addictive craft. The class will be limited to 6 participants ages 18+. All tools and materials will be supplied.
