Event Description:
🧵 Beginner Sewing 101: Make Your Own Pillowcase No experience needed — all materials provided!
Join us for a fun, hands-on sewing class where you'll learn how to make your very own pillowcase from scratch! Whether you've never touched a sewing machine or just need a refresher, this class is designed for true beginners of all ages.
What You'll Learn:
- How to thread a sewing machine
- How to wind a bobbin
- Sewing a straight stitch
- How to pivot a corner
By the end of class, you'll go home with a completed pillowcase you made yourself — and the confidence to keep sewing!
Everything is provided — just show up ready to create:
- Sewing machines
- Fabric
- Scissors
- Thread
- Bobbins
- Pins
📌 This class is a prerequisite for Beginner Sewing 102. Please complete Sewing 101 before registering for the next level.
Who Is This Class For?
This class is open to children and adults. Children must be at least 8 years old. Parents or guardians must accompany anyone under 18 for the full duration of class — and we encourage parents to help assist younger students hands-on during the session.
If only your child is participating, you only need to purchase one ticket to reserve your spot.
Important: All students are required to sign a waiver prior to the start of class.
