About this Event

🎬 Have a story idea but don’t know how to turn it into a screenplay?

You’re not alone — and you don’t need experience to start.

This beginner-friendly screenwriting workshop is designed specifically for people who are brand new to writing for the screen.

No background required.
No prior training needed.
Just curiosity — and an idea you want to explore.

✨ BEGINNERS WELCOME — NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Most students in this workshop are learning screenwriting for the very first time.

Many arrive unsure where to start…
and quickly realize they’re capable of far more than they expected.

✍️ WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

In this hands-on, interactive workshop, you’ll explore the essential building blocks of screenwriting:

• Turning ideas into strong story concepts
• Story structure & pacing
• Character goals, intention & conflict
• Want vs. Need
• Theme & tone
• Writing natural, compelling dialogue
• Visual storytelling techniques
• Screenplay format basics
• Rhythm, flow, and economy of the page
• What actually makes a screenplay work

No pressure.
Just practical tools you can start using immediately.

🌟 PERFECT FOR YOU IF YOU…

• Have an idea for a film or story
• Want to understand how movies are written
• Are curious about storytelling or filmmaking
• Have never written a screenplay before
• Want guidance from a professional filmmaker

Some students discover a passion they continue pursuing.
Others simply enjoy unlocking a new creative skill.

Both are equally welcome here.
