If you're ready to up your nature photography skills and level up your knowledge join our Intermediate Workshop.These days many nature lovers become aspiring photographers but can be put off by the complexity and expense of so called “proper cameras” meaning their creativity remains frustrated. We can help!
Join other like-minded enthusiasts on a day of tuition from Wirral-based photographer Ron Thomas for an introduction to using your camera - or even smartphone - to record the natural world and to get to know how to improve image making in general. You'll gain lots of hints and tips about getting the best out of the equipment you have, advice on what to get - or make - in order to move forward, and discover that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get those images of nature that you have always wanted.
Learn about camera handling and technique and gain basic skills in wildlife observation and wildlife behaviour. We will also talk about how to pursue your hobby sensitively, referencing the code of practice for nature photographers throughout the session. At the end of the day you will take home images that you will be pleased to hang on your wall at home.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day in the classroom. Our café is open 10.30am to 3.15pm with a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, pasties, sausage rolls, soup, cakes and drinks for you to purchase throughout the day or during the lunch break.
Bring along your camera and don’t forget fully charged batteries and lots of memory cards!
