About this Event
You don't have to be a dancer. You just have to be curious.
Beginner Movement is a free, guided class open to absolutely everyone. Whether you move every day or haven't moved "on purpose" in years. If you're a writer, artist, or creative who feels stuck. If you carry stress in your body and can't quite shake it. If you've always been a little curious about what it might feel like to just move freely then this is for you.
There's no choreography. Nothing to perform. No right or wrong way to be in the room.
What will happen:
You'll be gently invited to follow your own impulse and rhythm through simple, guided cues for breathing, sensing, noticing. The practice moves at your pace, with options to participate seated or standing. Often the noise in your head gets quieter and something in you opens up. People leave feeling more like themselves.
This is not about training or fixing the body. It's about remembering that your body already knows things and giving it space to express.
