Katie Rempel is a wonderfully creative self-taught multimedia artist who has explored a variety of mediums, but printmaking has truly captured her heart! With a love for tactile experiences, she delights in carving her prints by hand, infusing each piece with life and character. Katie has a playful approach to her art, blending humour with everyday moments to produce prints that are sure to bring a smile to your face! As a proud advocate of trial and error, she revels in experimenting with new materials and techniques in her cozy home studio right here in Calgary, where you might just find bits of carved lino scattered about.
