FAQs:
What is Country Swing?
  • Country Swing is a modern, lively partner dance full of spins, dips, and fun moves set to your favorite country music. It’s a casual, free-flowing style that focuses on connection and momentum.

Do I need a partner?
  • No partners necessary!
  • Country Swing is a partner dance but we will be switching partners during the class so you'll get a chance to dance with everyone. (If you are not comfortable with switching partners and want to dance with just the person you came with, that's totally fine too! :)
  • In fact, as long as you are comfortable with it, we highly encourage dancing with lots of different people because it helps you develop your own abilities to lead/follow.

What do I need to bring?
  • Indoor shoes! (Not outdoor shoes will be allowed in the studio.) Dance shoes, clean sneakers, and sock feet are fine.
  • Please no cowboy boots -- they ruin studio floors! If you want recommendations for dance-appropriate boots, send us an email.
  • Water bottle.
  • Deodorant/change of shirt. (It might get warm!)

But I have two left feet/can't dance/suck at dancing!
  • No such thing. ;) You just haven't found the right teacher/dance style yet.
