About this Event
Our gym melbourne calisthenics is an Australian first, and Melbourne's biggest and longest running calisthenics gym.
We specialise in beginner calisthenics, getting you started in training yourself wherever you are, with or without equipment.
Over 2.5-3 hours, we will guide you through all the fundamental principles of getting started in calisthenics 'bodyweight' exercise, and you'll leave with all the tools and insider tips and tricks to train yourself anywhere, any time.
This workshop is designed specifically for:
- Those who have never trained before
- Those who have trained, but now want to learn calsithenics
- Those who have some calisthenics ability, but want a grounding in the fundamentals
- Trainers who want to use calisthenics with their clients
This workshop is specifically geared towards absolute beginners, there will be no high level skills in this class. the intent is to teach you to understand the basic principles, so that you can apply it to any other trianing you do yourself, to massively increase your strength, mobility and bodily awareness.
Getting here:
We have all travel options close by.
Tram #57 from elizabeth street in the CBD, get off at stop 14 in North Melbourne, then its a two minute walk to our gym.
Train:
Both Arden and North Melbourne stations are 5-6 min walks to the gym, we are exactly between the two stations. Easy!
Car: there is plenty of parking on our street and surrounding streets. Sat afternoon is free parking too so you can safely park for the workshop event!
Cycle: We have plenty of space for you to bring your bicycle iniside on the day ;-)
