Beginner Beekeeping

If you're interested in getting started as a beekeeper, join us to learn the basics in this half-day workshop.

We'll cover:

• Honey bee biology, health, and behavior
• Beekeeping equipment and hive installation
• Hive care and maintenance
• Honey harvesting
• Beekeeping resources, rules, and regulations

Registration is $25 per participant. This class is open to all ages. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please note there are no live hive demonstrations included in this class.
