Join our beginner ballet class, geared towards ALL live variety arts, from burlesque, drag, and theatre! This class is open from the absolute beginner to the advanced performer.
No judgement, just a willingness to learn and elevate your understanding of movement.
With a full barre, center work, and terminology explanations, this class will advance your stage presence, fluid movement and apply how to position your body on stage in the variety arts for a polished, professional presentation and act development.
Taught by Pistol Holliday who has a BA in Dance from West Texas State University, trained under Neil Hess, David Howard School in NYC, and Broadway Dance Center all on scholarship. Pistol danced in various companies including LONE STAR Ballet, Sangre De Cristo Ballet Theater, and Eglevski Ballet. He has worked professionally in theatre, film, dance, and also taken focused classwork in repetition with some of the best burlesque artists and burlesque legends in the world!
